WHY USE CHIPROTECT?

CHIPROTECT is installed by Iden’s Detailing, which has been in business since 1989. In the past 15+ years we’ve learned a lot about detailing and protecting all different vehicles. We have seen the brand new vehicles leave the dealerships and we’ve watched them come back for service and detailing; each time more tattered with rock chips. We know where the vehicles are most susceptible to this damage, and we cover these areas better than the industry standard. 

BETTER COVERAGE
     In addition to the best coverage, CHIPROTECT always offers the most seamless kit possible. This is what the competition installs; notice they have made this hood in several pieces and have also added “relief cuts” in the compound curves, all to ease installation.

The same hood in the CHIPROTECT kit is all one piece. Relief cuts and multiple piece seams are not only susceptible to rock chips, but can also peel up from wash mitts or car wash brushes. These small seams can also get dirt jammed into them and appear dirty and black. We will never sacrifice coverage or quality appearance to ease installation.

In addition you will notice the flaps around the outside of the hood and inside of the fenders. All CHIPROTECT kits wrap underneath to protect all edges possible. The edges of the metal (especially the front edge of the hood) are THE MOST susceptible areas for rock chips. Still the competition leaves their kits OVER 1/8” AWAY from all the edges! CHIPROTECT kits require more installation time and a more skilled installer; but you will see and benefit from the difference.
